Job description / Role
The Company
We are looking for an energetic and competent individual who will be reporting directly to the Estate Manager, assisting in the maintenance and supervision of high-end luxury residential and commercial properties in Dubai. The candidate must have experience in interacting with the owners/investors of these properties.
The Role
Duties will be split between the maintenance of the current property portfolio and any ongoing/future construction projects.
Main responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:
* Assisting in supervising and monitoring of construction and maintenance works;
* Interacting professionally with owners/investors, contractors, engineers, project managers, building professionals and skilled labourers on and off sites;
* Liaising with relevant government and other authorities and building management companies;
* Responding effectively to emergencies at any of the properties;
* Executing of administrative duties, which may include document control, draft reports, schedule and coordinate meetings, draft agendas and record minutes;
* Seeking to obtain quotes and best value from various suppliers;
* Attending site meetings as and when required;
* Supervising properties by performing regular walk-throughs and checks to ensure the quality of the building is being upheld;
* Complying and implementing best practice Health and Safety standards across all properties;
* Assisting the Estate Manager in daily tasks.
Requirements
The Candidate
Successful candidate should possess the following qualities and skills:
Technical:
* Ability to read CAD drawings and blueprints;
* Ability to troubleshoot issues and carry out basic building repairs;
* Possess basic knowledge of building trades such as MEP (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing) works;
* Possess at least 2-3 years of experience in construction within the UAE;
* Basic knowledge of BMS (building management system);
* IT literate with strong command of MS Excel and MS Word.

* Proactive and efficient;
* Able to work on own initiative as well as in a team;
* Professional, discreet and trustworthy;
* Dedicated and highly organised;
* Able to multitask and prioritise tasks.
Other:
* Hold a valid UAE driving licence;
* Willing to travel overseas as needed.
