Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Our client are a leading multinational retail company, they require a UAE National PRO to support all processes related to labour and immigration formalities, applications/renewals for all full time, temporary and part time employees, ensuring all legal systems and records are updated in a timely manner without fines and penalties and ensuring that the Company is abiding with local laws and regulations. Manage the timelines for opening the new stores, closures and all renewals of trade licences and formalities.

Key Responsibilities:
- To support employees with visa applications, visa renewals, medical reports, passport expiries and transfer processes.
- Process and renew labour contracts via Ministry of Labour for new and existing Employees ensuring all records for the company on the Labour system are up to date and within the quota.
- Collect and provide periodical updates from the government authorities on all Labour and immigration rules to keep the HR department abreast of the changes in the rules and procedures;
- Maintain the HR employee records by tracking employee labour contracts, visa and passport expiries and communicate the same to the employee to prepare timely renewals
- Process all applications for various visit visas for guests/clients.
- Save all labour contracts, passport and visa copies, photos on the HR network and employee files.
- Custodian of HR petty cash for visa processes and labour related expenses – including preparation of petty cash statement and supporting documents for finance.
- General support to departments for anything involving the local authorities and replacing the Government Relations Specialist during his/her absence.
- Arrange processing attestation of employee qualifications as required.
- Deal with general enquires regarding PRO functions promptly and efficiently to enhance the level of department service.
- Be the point of contact internally for employees for all visa and labour related formalities.
- Utilize available resources in an efficient and effective manner to decrease process time and fees.
- Provide administration support to the HR department as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of company and employee documents at all times.
- Provide support to Legal department, Retail Back Office and Marketing for all promotions and formalities associated with the business.

Requirements

This position is open to UAE National applicants only, other nationalities will not be considered.

Education and Experience:
- Own car and driving license
- 5 years overall work experience with local authorities and public sector
- High school leaving certificate
