Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Objectives:
- Provide specialist advice, carry out all process engineering activities for conceptual and optimization studies, front end engineering design (FEED) and detail engineering for brown and green field onshore / offshore oil and gas projects
- Contribute to preparation of scope of work for engineering consultant / EPCM / EPC / construction contractors etc.
- Review bids, issue clarifications, technical recommendation and support up to contract award.

Main responsibilities:
- Perform conceptual and optimization studies, basic process design, front end engineering, safety (Safety review, HAZOP, HAZID) and design (process design review, value engineering, constructability review, project risk assessment) etc.
- Experienced in all process engineering activities: simulation using Hysys, Pipesim etc, preparation of PFD, P&ID, datasheets, line list, cause and effect chart, procurement and construction support.
- Carry out pipeline hydraulic, sizing calculations for PSVs' control valve etc.
- Carry out site survey to as built process documents as relevant to project handled.
- Provide engineering support required for detailed design, project cost and planning groups.
- Prepare scope of work for engineering consultants
- Review of bids of engineering services, equipment, etc.
- Monitor, review and approve engineering work for consultants and EPC / EPCM / PMC contractors.
- Promote application of new technologies and industry best practices.
- Participate in pre-qualification of engineering consultants/vendors and review bidder list.

Duration: 2- year contract

Working Hours: Sun-Thurs 7:30-3:00
Gross monthly base salary: $10,000-16,000

Requirements

- Bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years' experience in oil and gas / process industry, 5 years of which should be upstream offshore oil and gas projects
- Excellent knowledge and skills of relevant international codes and standards
