Procure to Pay (P2P) Officer

Job description / Role

Purpose

To support P2P process optimisation and best practice across IHS, perform P2P Accounting for the assigned entities and finalize applicable high-quality balance sheet reconciliations which can stand the test of audit.

Key Responsibilities

- Support change, process standardization & continuous improvement mindset across IHS
- Basic knowledge of P2P best practice & trends
- Receive electronic invoices
- Processing of vendor invoices and handling vendor queries (Invoice entry into D365, Invoice matching, Lead invoice query resolution)
- Creation of payment proposals for periodic pay runs
- Processing of exceptional items
- Conversion of Purchase Requisitions to Purchase Orders (POs)
- Submission of POs to vendors
- Employee expenses processing
- Month-end processing
- Journal postings
- Journal approval
- Produce month-end reports
- Deep understanding of the end-to-end P2P accounting
- Demonstrate competencies in financial accounting, analytical thinking and problem solving

Educational/Professional Requirements

- Minimum 3 years post graduate experience (essential)
