Procurement Director

This is an excellent career opportunity for an ambitious procurement professional with sound commercial awareness. Our Client is one of the top Property Developer based in Dubai. Currently seeking a procurement director with experience for their Dubai Office.

Responsibility: Acting like a human octopus across the business, procurement director, you will find your self getting involved in a number of tasks that are critical for both the profits and the development of the company. Tasks include:
- Getting goods and services for the best price and value.
- Cutting any waste and unnecessary costs to create a streamlined process and fast production times.
- Working with suppliers to ensure that key processes are running efficiently and cost-effectively.
- Building strong working relationships both internally and with key suppliers.
- Contract management and negotiation.
- Understanding and keeping up with new trends and regulations in the business.
- Forecasting levels of demand for services and products to meet the business needs and keeping a constant check on stock levels.
- Conducting research to ascertain the best products and suppliers in terms of best value, delivery schedules and quality.
- Identifying potential suppliers, visiting existing suppliers, and building and maintaining good relationships with them.
- Negotiating and agreeing contracts and monitoring their progress, checking the quality of service provided.
- Processing payments and invoices.

Requirements

- At least 6 years experience in procurement management.
- Arab National
- Preferably based in UAE
- Strong English Language
- Technical & General Procurement Experience
- Must have Contracting Background
- An understanding of Project Management.
- Data literate with advanced excel skills
- Must be self-starter; able to develop and expand the role.

Salary: AED 50K to AED 55K / Month
Start date: Immediate
