Procurement Director

Job description / Role

As a Procurement Director you will be joining a Manufacturer of Construction Products for the Commercial and Residential sector, with a focus on sustainable materials.

If you are a Procurement Manager or Director working in Manufacturing or Construction and have managed budgets of AED1Billion then please consider this role.

As a Procurement Director you will be:

• Establishing category management process and teams.
• Developing standard policies and processes for multi-geographical work locations.
• Develop supplier performance management framework and fostering commercial culture within the team.
• Global sourcing (multi-sourcing and strategic sourcing) to identify global and local partners for long- and short-term agreements.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring reliability and quality in the supply chain.
• Developing and executing a procurement strategy aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.
• Building, motivating and developing a high-performing procurement team.

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Experience in an Manufacturing Environment, Special Component, Interior Production, Fit out, Construction Materials sector.
• Experience or an understanding of Global/UAE/KSA procurement practices.
• Experience with macro and micro supply chain.
• Experience in leadership and management, including team supervision and strategic decision-making.
• Financial analysis skills to assess the financial impact of procurement decisions. (cashflow and payment terms negotiation)
• A commitment to ethical business practices and compliance with relevant policies laws and regulations. (GCC/UAE/KSA)

Salary on offer is circa AED55k per month with family benefits.

Salary:
AED 50,000 to 55,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

• 10 plus years experience
• GCC/KSA/UAE/Global Procurement knowledge
• Financial analysis skills to assess the financial impact of procurement decisions. (cashflow and payment terms negotiation)
