Position Title: Procurement Executive
Employment Type: Full Time
Salary: up to 15K AED all-inclusive depending on experience and qualifications
Job Location: Dubai, UAE

About the Client:
A supplier and distributor of pipes, tubes, fittings, and other piping components.

Job Description:
• Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with organizational goals and objectives
• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish mutually beneficial relationships
• Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers, new products, and cost-saving opportunities, manage vendor performance, including monitoring quality, delivery time, and resolving any issues or disputes;
• Review purchase requisitions, solicit bids, and evaluate proposals to ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures;
• Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities, including contracts, purchase orders, and supplier performance.

Requirements

Qualifications:
• Male, 40 years old and below
• Bachelor's degree preferably in piping engineering, supply chain management, or a related field
• At least 4 years of experience in the similar role
• Proven work experience as a procurement executive or similar role, dealing with steel pipe fittings (butt-weld fittings, flanges, weldolets, etc.)
• Firm knowledge of pipe fittings manufacturers globally, relevant industry, and market trends
• Strong understanding of procurement principles, practices, and procedures
