Job description / Role
NTS Group are currently working with a leading and reputable global health/beauty/wellness business who are seeking a Procurement / Supply Chain Manager, to be based in their corporate offices in Dubai. The role will focus on working with operations/ training to source the right products, Performing vendor analysis, Negotiations and maintenance of positive alliances. You will be responsible for Developing and implementing strategies for procuring, storing and distributing goods or services and maintaining stock levels, Controlling the delivery processes, Leading and managing the purchase function and inventory control processes (to ensure the availability of products while managing cost), Working on forecasts and inventories, Keeping an accurate record of the process and analysing performance. Furthermore, you will focus on improving the overall supply chain performance and look for any possible innovations to the process, Implementing new technologies and staying alert to new trends, Monitoring and providing regular reports on slow moving and aged inventories, Developing action plans to manage slow moving inventories, Developing and implementing cost saving ideas and strategies, Analyses consumption and working closely with Operations to keep costs in control. You will also provide accurate monthly inventory reports, summarizing the results and impact of measures taken.
Requirements
To be considered, you will have a Degree (or equivalent) in business (or a related field) with 5 - 10 years relevant experience in procurement, production scheduling and inventory management. You will have demonstrated inclusive leadership and have excellent communication skills, as well as the ability to build and sustain excellent business relationships (internally and externally) and high functioning teams. You will have strong business, financial and analytical acumen with a strong understanding of supply chain processes, continuous improvement methodologies. You will have demonstrated the ability to prepare effective management reports and clearly relay information to all levels of the company as well as the ability to lead, coordinate and manage multiple projects, diagnose issues, problem solve solutions and pursue continuous improvement opportunities. Candidates will come from a health/spa/wellness background ideally however candidates who meet the above requirements from a retail, hospitality and FMCG background will also be considered.
