Procurement Manager

Job description / Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Procurement Manager to join our team in the interior fit out industry. The Procurement Manager will be responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and negotiating materials and services to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of procurement processes, excellent negotiation skills, and a proven track record of cost savings and supplier management in the interior fit out industry.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize costs and ensure timely delivery of materials and services
- Identify and source reliable suppliers and vendors for various materials and services required for interior fit out projects
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to obtain the best terms and pricing
- Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and timelines
- Manage supplier relationships and performance to ensure quality, timely delivery, and cost-effectiveness
- Assess and mitigate risks associated with procurement activities and supply chain management
- Monitor market trends and industry developments to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, contracts, and supplier information

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
- 10 years minimum experience as a Procurement Manager or in a similar procurement role within the interior fit out industry or construction industry
- In-depth knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and supply chain management
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office suite
