Job description / Role
- Analyzing procurement requirements and selecting the most appropriate sourcing methods.
- Planning, organizing and leading the procurement needs & on time delivery to the site.
- Drafting purchase orders (POs), capturing relevant technical requirements and critical commercial terms, and incorporating the standard terms and conditions of Procurement department.
- Following up and interacting with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of supplies/projects.
Requirements
- Preference for Engineering background graduate Civil/construction.
- Ability to work under pressure, demonstrate qualities of excellent team player with multi-tasking skills
- Construction experience in well-known organization is must.
- Experience minimum 5 years specially UAE (Dubai) experience.
- Good in negotiation & getting competitive prices.
- Meeting deadlines/tight schedules.
- Familiar to financial terms & good relation with vendors/suppliers in UAE.
- Having reference list/good relation in the market to work on priority basis.
