Job description / Role
We are the reputed tents manufacturing company which is spreading globally and currently searching for the enthusiastic and responsible Procurement Officer to join us.
Main responsibilities will be:
- Acquiring goods and services for the company;
- Compare and evaluate products offered to determine if they align with the needs of the company; choose the most reliable suppliers;
- Negotiate with suppliers to determine the best price available and enact contracts with those providers once an agreement has been reached;
- Actively work with other members of the organization to ensure that all products and services are provided as agreed;
- Full management of the purchasing process
Requirements
- At least 5 years’ experience in the steel/hardware/construction materials purchasing;
- Strong research and negotiation competencies;
- Master degree in Accounting, Business or related fields from an accredited institution.;
- Fluency in English and Arabic;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and search engines;
- Able to deliver effective results, meet tight deadlines and targets;
- Good judgments in making purchasing decisions;
- Must possess exceptional mathematical and critical thinking skills, as well as excellent communication abilities;
- Valid UAE driving license and own car
