Employment: Full Time

A reputable Automotive company is currently recruiting for a Product and Price Manager. You will be directly reporting to the General Manager-Sales and Operations

The product and price analyst analyses the market and competitor activity in order to position the most suitable company’s i product in the market, in terms of specification and price. Through close cooperation with the dealerships and internal counterparts, he/she ensures the smooth implementation of company’s products in the market and an effective life cycle management.

The P & P manager is the interface between the dealers and the company to ensure that the market requirements are taken up by headquarter product development and reflected in the product premises for the LAP planning process.

The P & P manager is responsible for the final pricing of vehicles and as such has an immediate impact on the company profit and loss.

MAIN RESPONSBILITIES

Major Tasks
- Pricing new models for the regions (GCC & Near East).
- Setting packages for the models and negotiating the options and support for the company
- Coordination with dealers to define model year changes and implementation.
- Coordination with the company for finalizing price build up and calculations for every new model year (all segments).
- Sales program definition, monitoring of take rates and definition of measures to ensure reduction of complexity.
- Coordination of objective setting and managing daily workload for Sales Department intern for all product and price topics.
- Lifecycle management over LAP cycle incl. market introduction management, definition of special editions, launch packages and run out models.
- Overall responsibility for maintaining the Internet Car Configurator and managing all updates on a continuous basis.
- Responsible for co-ordination and organization of annual dealer product circle.

Marketing Disciplines
- Long Term Planning - Co-ordination for product & price with sales distribution/operations for annual mix planning and long term planning.
- Regional Price Monitoring - Monthly updates of the Index file with competition and communication to the company as required.
- Product Meetings - Coordination of dealer and importer input for advanced product circle and market product circle in the company (long term and medium term product and option development for the region and specific markets).
- Launch Management - Project management and launch management of new vehicles.

Overseeing Agencies
- Managing mystery shopping agencies (contracting, briefing, consulting, evaluating, controlling, pitching).

Main Interfaces
- Interface with company’s on all P&P topics.
- Contact within the ME on all P&P topics.

Budget
- Controlling & compliance of budgets for P&P measures (Packages &Mystery Shopping Programme).

Requirements

- Middle East regional experience
- Automotive industry experience is a must, preferably in the same role
- Dealer relationship management
- Relevant Tertiary Education degree certificate (required)
- 3 – 5 years automotive sales experience

KPIs:
- Sales volume
- Take rates on packages
- Mix planning accuracy
