Job description / Role
Purpose: To assist Product Managers during the inception, planning, development and delivery of new products and product releases for Islamic Banking to the market in order to meet the overall goals of Islamic Banking.
Description of Account abilities
- Analyse data, prepare presentations and obtain critical market information to assist in the delivery process of new product releases in order to ensure timely and accurate development of reports.
- Complete basic analysis and monitor financial performance to assist in re-structuring of products.
- Conduct research and gather information using online / offline information sources and produce data to support management and colleagues in meetings and new business presentations.
- Adhere to all relevant organisational and departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out to the required standard and in a consistent manner while delivering the required standard of service to customers and stakeholders.
- Manage self in line with the bank’s people management policies, procedures, processes and practices to ensure adherence and to maximize own contribution to business performance.
- Demonstrate Our Promise and apply the ADCB Service Standards to deliver the bank’s required levels of service in all internal and external customer interactions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business or Economics
- At least 3 years of experience in banking/financial institution (Islamic Product knowledge would be preferred)
Technical Competencies:
- Basic knowledge in Sharia rules and principles, Numerical and financial analysis skills, Basic Excel, Word, & MS Office skills.
