Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Sourcing products from suppliers and manufacturers across the globe
- Meeting suppliers and negotiating terms of contract
- Maintaining relationships with existing suppliers and sourcing new suppliers for future products
- Monitor and track products and suppliers related information and trends
- Achieve sales target and improve gross profit of the brand
- Manage product planning in accordance to customer behaviour and market trends and requirement, introducing new products and product features and competitive edge specifications to elevate our product amongst its competitors
- Analyse market intelligence and monitor competitor’s activities, retail and wholesale prices.
- Reacting to changes in demand and logistics
- Managing plans for stock levels
- Regularly reviewing performance indicators, such as sales and discount levels
- Formulating cost structure for all products, current and new
- Coordinate with sales team and gather market information to find appropriate products and source from relevant suppliers
- Monitor sales trends and place timely orders to ensure stocks availability and meeting sales plans
- Reviewing all quality issues and taking the corrective actions at the source

Requirements

- Around 5 to 10 years’ experience in Product sourcing and Management function preferably in Electronics or Consumer Durable industry
- Strong analytical, problem solving and decision making skills
- Strong negotiation skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
- Ability to clearly communicate with all levels of the organization and vendors
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and dedication to customer service
- Highly organized with an impeccable skill to follow-through and follow-up
- Highly effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment; can balance multiple priorities
- Highly creative, thinks out of the box with a an innovative mind-set
