Production Assisstant (Labor)

Job description / Role

Gold refinery laborers play an essential role in the gold refining process, ensuring the efficient and safe operation of the refinery facility. They are responsible for various tasks related to the refining of gold, adhering to strict quality and safety standards. The job description for a gold refinery laborer may include the following duties and responsibilities:

Precious Metal Handling:
• Receive, inspect, and handle raw gold materials, including doré bars, scrap gold, and gold-bearing alloys, ensuring accurate documentation and tracking of incoming materials.

Refining Processes:
• Assist in the various stages of the gold refining process, which may include crushing, grinding, melting, chemical treatments, and separation techniques to extract pure gold.

Safety Compliance:
• Adhere to strict safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Report any safety hazards, incidents, or near misses to supervisors or safety personnel.

Compliance and Regulations:
• Adhere to all applicable environmental, health, and safety regulations, as well as compliance standards and industry best practices related to gold refining operations.

Salary:
AED 1,500 to 2,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
