Programme Manager, UAE and AME

Job Description
* Manage AME regulatory portfolio in line with Country Regulations and group guideline for prioritisation and change implementation
* Drive the end to end regulatory project delivery across AME

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

AME Regulatory portfolio Management
* Consolidation & review AME countries regulatory requirements on weekly basis ensuring requests for change are been tracked for delivery with Group.
* Act as a single point of contact for regulatory portfolio for Group and Countries in the Region.
* Work closely with Group Reg portfolio team to prioritise regulatory requests from Region and ensure that regulatory projects are being tracked and delivered within agreed timelines.
* Ensure solution/cost and timelines are consistent with the requirements and are delivered within agreed SLA with Countries and Region.
* Ensure communications to Regulators through country L&C/CIO is up to date in terms of SCB delivery date.
* Provide regular regulatory projects status updates to stakeholders across the region and raise escalations when needed
* Conduct governance forums (Review meetings) with regional/country stakeholders to provide overall update on regulatory projects statuses, risks and issues and review projects RAG
* Act as an escalation point for countries whenever a risk to meeting regulatory timelines is raised and provide support for risk/ issue resolution.
* Provide support to county project manager including training and project management methodology throughout project delivery phase
* Run weekly regulatory projects review meeting with cluster PM and SME covering new initiatives
* Run project status update call with Cluster PM and countries PM
* Work with Regional SME and ensure that solution/cost and timelines provided for the projects are in line with the approved reg budget and target architecture modal.

UAE E2E Regulatory Project Management
* End to end project management in terms of planning, resources, cost and governance, ensuring delivery of project within budget and timelines:
* Contribute to and review business requirement, solution, functional/system interface requirements;
* Drive required process changes in line with projects requirements in collaboration with operation teams
* Run working groups and PSG when applicable , including preparation of project meeting packs, minutes and interim updates with senior stakeholders
* Ensure that issues and risks are appropriately captured and raised, and support establishment of appropriate mitigation / action plans
* Drive resolution of issues throughout project lifecycle
* Identify interdependencies with streams/ other projects and thematic issues that require resolution / escalation
* Drive SIT/UAT with respective Technology Delivery Managers, test teams and business users.
* Manage post go-live issue resolution
* Ensure that project governance is setup for each regulatory change initiative
* Ensure all project adhere to Bank's project management standard from a quality and control perspective.
* Ensure smooth BAU transition for each regulatory project

Requirements

* Bachelor/Master Degree with 8+ years experience in multiple phases of the project lifecycle, preferably with exposure to business project delivery roles
* Knowledge of SCB standard processes, project management, implementation and post implementation processes an advantage.
* Knowledge of Regulatory initiatives and experience in successful delivery of regulatory changes
* Able to take ownership of issues/tasks and apply Project Management best practices;
* Ability to create effective work relationships across business & borders
* Ability to engage effectively with senior management
* Focused, organised, results-oriented and works independently to strict timeframes
* Cross functional and domain knowledge in terms of products, segments is an advantage
* Good presentation and excel skill
