Job description / Role
JOB PURPOSE
The Coordinator role is to recruit oversees the programs, activities, and collaborative process in a comprehensive program.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Support the unit in preparation of submittals, proposals, reports, follow up as assigned.
• Screen calls; manages calendars; make travel, meeting and event arrangements; prepare reports and financial data.
• Follow up with leads / prospects and customers where required.
• Coordinate between the unit and other departments for compilation of submittals, presentations, documents and reports as assigned from time to time.
• Any other tasks and/or works as requested by the PCS Management.
Requirements
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
Educational and Technical Qualifications:
• Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Business or IT related fields.
• Extensive software skills are required word processing, creating spreadsheets and presentations, and filing.
• Excellent communications skills and ability to work with teams.
• Ability to deal with shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Knowledge in dealing with personnel with different communication styles from team members and contractors who come from a broad spectrum of disciplines.
• Experience in dealing with Government entities.
• Knowledge of the port and logistics industry and business processes
Language Skills:
• English and Arabic – Good Written and Spoken
Years of Experience:
• 3-5 Years of experience.
Nature of Experience:
• 3-5 years of experience in Coordinator role.
Work Conditions:
• On-call availability at any time.
• Sitting for extended periods of time.
• Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, power tools, and to handle other computer components.
