Project Coordinator - Storage & Handling Equipment - FAMCO - Abu Dhabi

We are looking for a Project Coordinator where he/she is responsible for Supervision and site-coordination of multiple small, medium and large Racking and Shelving projects including proprietary Dexion racking, shelving and storage systems. Ensuring successful completion of all projects within the defined scope, quality, duration and cost constraints. Shall be responsible for the following duties:
- Client liaison
- Agreeing timescales, costs and resources required for each project
- Liaison with Sales and Purchasing personnel
- Developing detailed plans to achieve each stage of the project
- Selecting and leading project teams
- Ensuring that each stage of the project is progressing on time, on budget and to the required quality standards
- Report regularly on progress to the client or to Construction Manager.
- Preparing the site by selecting staff, installing temporary offices and taking delivery of materials
- Working closely with the site workforce
- Regular monitoring of progress, costs and quality
- Ensuring work meets legal, contractual, safety, quality, schedule and technical requirements

Requirements

- Preferably an Diploma in Mechanical engineering or similar Trade
- Minimum 6 years in a Project coordinator role preferably within the Racking and Shelving Industry
- Excellent computer skills including fluency in MS Office applications, MS Project and AutoCAD preferred
- Technical interpretation of Construction/ Work related drawings and client requirements.
