Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Establish the project requirements and resources from internal and external sources
- Act as a main point of contact with appointed project’s FEL3 and ePCM/consultant
- Manage and report regularly project’s KPI and risk management to the GAC CEO
- Establish liaison strategy with project’s Stakeholders and ensure successful handover and acceptance by operations
- Responsible for building an excellent team work environment and formulate the guiding strategy, clearly defining the objectives, proceedings, review and feedback measure of success.
- Formulate the project execution plan and project baseline, budget and schedule with project team and EPCM counterpart to align the expectation on deliverables and working process.
- Ensure overall project deliverables are fully and accurately cascaded from top level down to individual positions.
- Manage any scope change, ensuring that the change remains in step with the fundamental objectives in line with EGA GAC DOA
- Bring critical matters to the attention of the GAC CEO and advise on high-level actions and decisions to be made in line with projects objectives
- Demonstrate leadership for senior managers and area managers and act as main point of accountability for activities undertaken throughout project execution
- Build strong communication and reporting line with all stakeholders and manage project wide KPIs and risk management ctivities in accordance to approved procedures and processes
- Manage overall FEL3 and ePCM performance with independent findings on cost and schedule performance from the Project Control function. Proactively work to identify and resolve issues to preserve or improve project value.
- Take responsibility for ensuring trainees are following the set program and continuously achieving the learning through project’s difference phases/execution.

Requirements

- 15 years of experience in same field with similar projects, with a minimum value of USD 1 bn.
- Mining Project experience
- Experience working in Africa and Middle East
- PMP certificate is preferred
- Fluency in French is preferred
