Project Execution Manager (Wind)

Job description / Role

Our client is an independent investment company, specialized in renewable energy generation projects across the META region (Middle East, Turkey and Africa) Within one year of activity, the company has successfully entered into a number of RE projects in the region and its target for the coming years is to build own and operate 1,000MW

Key Purpose of the role: To provide technical and commercial support to the asset management of new and existing projects. To monitor and report activities during development, construction and operation of RE plants across META region

Main Responsibilities:
- Support of project management the development, construction and operation of the plants, mainly wind. PV knowledge will be appreciated too.
- Monitoring and reporting of environmental and technical aspects of the projects
- RfP management, drafting and evaluation
- Contract management (PPA, EPC, O&M, Connection Agreement, TSA, Permits, etc), keep records of updated changes in contracts and claims
- Undertake feasibility assessments and in-house Due Diligence analysis up to a level of detail if the before mentioned plants · - Environmental management, monitoring and reporting
- Consultant management

Requirements

- Academic background; Bachelor of electrical Engineering (BEng)
- Project management experience preferred (3-5 years ideally)
- Ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams
- Knowledge of basic contracts such as PPA, LLA, EPC, O&M
- Software: PVSyst 6 or 7, Meteonorm, WindPRO, WindFarmer
- Ability to communicate with people of different backgrounds
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken)

Additional Information
- Permanent contract of employment with Dubai based Office
- Position will require significant travel within Middle East, North Africa, Levant Region and Europe as per project basis.
- Project management of 3-4 projects of 50MW each from the technical point of view
- Provide technical/commercial support for projects as needed
- Reports to Asset Management
