Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with a large power and energy company that is looking to hire a Project Finance Solicitor with c. 3 - 11 PQE + to play a key role in its high profile and well established Dubai office. This will involve working with operations and projects across the Middle East.
The role will involve covering the full mix of project financing work, covering large-scale project from the outset to conclusion. The position will be to work closely with the lead Lawyer and the Senior Stakeholders on projects in the UAE and the broader Middle East and Africa. The role will be to provide project finance legal support, along with other legal work, in relation to provision of its high profile energy (renewables & conventional), power and infrastructure projects.
Requirements
The successful candidate should be a Project Finance Lawyer, able to work independently so PQE is flexible i.e. 3 – 11 PQE, based either in the UAE with a leading international law firm, or interested in relocating from the UK, Australia or New Zealand etc. Our client has an interested in a high calibre individual who will be able and comfortable working independently and / or within a team structure. High quality mixed Finance Lawyers, with project finance experience and looking to specialise are also welcome for consideration. Excellent tax free rates of remuneration on offer to attract a high calibre lawyer.
