Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with an award winning architectural and engineering consultancy. Due to continuous growth, our client is looking to hire a Project Manager to join the design team.
Reporting to the Project Director, you will manage current projects, monitoring budget, quality and time schedules. You will provide leadership to the project teams enabling them to execute design services efficiently whilst participating in the planning and design of complex projects. You will also manage the clients design requests, establishing project objectives, liaising with the in-house design teams and making sure budgets are maintained. Additionally, you will evaluate sub-consultant tenders and oversee the execution of the projects ensuring the quality of work is consistently upheld.
Requirements
The successful candidate should have a BA or MSc in architecture, preferably with a Project Management qualification (PMP or LEED). You should have at least 15 years experience, UAE or GCC familiarity and an understanding of FIDIC contracts. As the main point of contact for clients, it is essential you have excellent communication skills. Extensive knowledge in all stages of design and the ability to coordinate engineering services are crucial.
