Job description / Role

EPC Offshore Fabrication Project Manager is required by a leading Offshore Fabrication, Construction, Installation & Maintenance contractor in the United Arab Emirates with a long pipeline of offshore marine construction projects on order and under execution.

Projects will be conducted for major operators in Abu Dhabi’s offshore and onshore portion on the gulf and experience of leading diverse teams of up to 500 people will be a pre-requites for any application including execution and erection of projects relating to steel fabrication and construction up to a value of $50M.

The Project Manager will be expected to handle turnkey projects from award through planning to execution and handover. The Project Manager will act as a key member of the management team and will build support operations strategies in conjunction with other members of the management teams

The Project Manager will have key accountabilities which will include but are not limited to the following responsibilities:
- Develop execution plan for each project
- Monitor day-to-day running of the work progress and schedule
- Responsible for project work package and scope, quality, time management and cost initiatives
- Provide leadership during project lifecycle
- Project profitability
- Complete on time
- Instill high levels of safety
- Act as key project liaison between fabrication, engineering and construction teams

Requirements

If you are an experienced Project manager with 10 - 15 years’ experience in Fabrication and Construction projects for offshore Abu Dhabi and have managed multi-disciplined diverse teams and typically bring your projects in under budget and on-site promote high levels of safety and quality on your projects then this could be the ideal role for you.

This is a key position within the management team of an internationally recognised contractor with a large portfolio of clients across the region.

You will be required to:
- Manage project of up to $50M and this must be reflected in your experience to date.
- Have a PMP or Project Management qualification
- Have an Engineering or related academic certification in Engineering/Fabrication
