Job description / Role
Will have a Masters (minimum of a bachelor`s degree) in relevant technical field and may be have an advanced degree and/or at least 15 years of related experience in applying the discipline skill(s) to oil gas projects.
In depth familiarity with a wide variety of the discipline`s concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. Provides expert consultation in one or more areas for the design, development and implementation of technical products and systems.
Typically reports to higher level supervisor or manager.
Requirements
- Bachelor`s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum of 20 years of detail design engineering related experience preferably from a background in working for consultancy organisations or EPC for petrochemical or for the Oil and Gas Industry.
- Out of this at least five years shall be of managerial position.
- Possess good knowledge of relevant IEC, BS, IEEE, API etc. codes and standards. Shall possess ability to grasp other international standards and client specifications as demanded by work.
