Job description / Role
Job Purpose
Lead a wide range of innovation projects and other related tasks, including planning, development and execution of various innovation projects as per business requirements. This includes key projects with certain customers or stakeholders, or internal company innovation projects as assigned such as incubation and competitions.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead various projects and initiatives assigned with basic project management methodologies, keeping all key stakeholders proactively informed from start to finish
- Lead research and present analysis/solutions for specific inquiries and business problems as assigned; examples include but not limited to: market analysis, benchmarking, customer base, and operational logistics
- Lead contractor management as assigned, ensuring the scope, schedule and budget of contractors is effectively managed with high quality deliverables received and effective communication managed throughout the life of the project
- Responsible for maintenance of all contract and project files, including information on project development milestones, tools, regulations, specifications, and reporting
- Support the marketing team and 3rd parties as directed to design, develop and initiate marketing initiatives as approved
- Support and participate in strategic planning and organizational planning as directed
- Support the day to day operations of the organization as directed; examples include, but not limited to: managing relations with clients, startups, companies, government
Requirements
Qualifications
- University Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or relevant education
- At least 2-5 years' experience in project management or project coordination
- Self-starter with entrepreneurial vision, critical thinking
- Innovative and creative mindset, very organized, good presentation skills
- Experience working in entrepreneurial environments such as incubators and accelerators is preferred, or working with innovation-based projects, technical research, or business development
- Experience in taking full ownership of project development & execution from start to finish
Working Conditions & Requirements
- The position will be based at Krypto Labs' office in Masdar City, Abu Dhabi
- There may be limited travel requirements mostly within Abu Dhabi to client sites, and potential international travel relevant to global projects
