Job description / Role

Reporting: Head of Construction

Job Objective:
The role of Project Manager – Construction is to plan, execute & finalize construction projects according to strict deadlines & within budget. This includes acquiring resources & coordinating with team members & third party contractors in order to deliver projects objective & oversee the quality control throughout its life cycle.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Delivery of the turn key hotels or a number of resident buildings mostly or part of a large mixed use leisure, resorts and residential projects or any other project(s) as per Management decision during the construction process.
2. To deliver on time, within budget & with the required quality of assigned projects (i.e. residential, buildings, hotels, etc.).
3. Able to supply project related feedbacks & advice the construction stages & cost disciplines that is related to the projects.
4. Report on work progress, cost & quality in accordance the contract agreement as per agreed reporting format.
5. Represents client’s side point of view during the resolution and inter-phases of the projects with other appointed contractors.
6. Direct & manage project development from start to finish.
7. Define project scope, goals & deliverables that support client’s goals in collaboration with Senior Management.
8. Effectively communicate project expectations to all team members in a timely and clear manner.
9. Estimate the resources and participants in case needed in order to achieve the project goals.
10. Identify, resolve issues or conflicts within the project team or to any third party.
11. Track project milestones and deliverables.
12. Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements, documentation and presentations.
13. Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crisis and devise contingency plans.
14. Establish and ensures that health and safety standards are being followed at work site.
15. Conduct all project meetings with consultants, contractors or sub-contractor's as and when required.
16. To do any additional tasks assigned by department head or Management.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering.
Minimum 12 Years of construction experience with Building projects.
Good understanding of planning and programming.
Strong personality and willingness to work most of the time on site.
