Job description / Role
Responsible for overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of the Project. Also ensure execution of the project in line with the company's strategy, commitments and goals.
Responsible for:
- Lead the planning and implementation of the project.
- Develop full scale project plans
- Plan and schedule project time lines
- Define project tasks
- Track project deliverables
- Facilitate the definition of the project scope, goal and deliverables
- Manage project resource allocation
- Effective monitoring and enforce all safety aspects & ensure that safety, quality and environment requirements of yard are strictly met
- Constantly monitor and report the project progress on a weekly basis to DDWD Senior Management client
- Present reports defining project progress, problems and solution
- Implement and manage project changes & interventions to achieve project outputs
- All changes that occur need to be properly defined, considered and approved prior to implementation
- project close out reports
- Project evaluation, assessment of results and lessons learnt
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction (conduct regular customer satisfaction meetings)
- Perform related duties assigned by the section head
Requirements
Client is a well known government entity in the UAE, are recruiting for a number of positions to be based in Dubai. They are recruiting for a Project Manager for New Builds with at least 10 years experience, with at least 4 years in project management.
- Engineering Degree or equivalent qualification in Marine Field
- Must be proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
- Min. 10 years experience in new builds/shipyards
- Preferred knowledge of contracts administration
