Project Manager - Permanent - Abu Dhabi, UAE

Our prestigious IT Financial Software Vendor is urgently looking for a Project Manager for a permanent position to be based in Abu Dhabi, UAE

The Project Manager will be responsible for the fulfilment of project specifications and guaranteeing the quality of the deliverables for one or several simultaneous projects. The Project Manager will identify client requirements and deliver a system that meets these requirements within deadline and budget.

The Project Manager will include but not be limited to:
- Gaining a thorough knowledge of the client's business and demonstrate an on-going commitment and response to his or her clients' needs and satisfaction
- Acting as the primary client contact, the Account Manager will be required to forge positive relationships with his/her clients through consistent contact and diligent client service
- Working effectively with people in other departments of our firm to manage the day-to-day operation of the clients' projects and business with our software
- Developing and monitoring project plans to ensure key milestones are met. Communicate and provide solutions for potential problems or issues
- Coordinating the acquisition of client materials and ensure proper and timely setup and testing of these materials within our software
- Managing the daily client activities and follow-through on requests and new projects
- Managing all aspects of the project (budget, scope, schedule, and resources)
- Managing the full project life cycle from initiation to closure
- Participating in project estimation during the pre-sales phase
- Identifying and managing the constraints, issues risks of project
- Defining and following up on the schedule and the quality of the deliverables
- Participating in internal processes: pre-sales, client billing

Requirements

- Bachelor of Science or equivalent experience
- Extensive software project management knowledge skills
- Good knowledge of IT project management methodologies and tools (MS Project)
- Good knowledge of finance and accounting principles
- Skills with financial products and technologies
- Expertise in requirement gathering and documentation techniques
- Expertise in managing system and user acceptance testing
- Expertise in various project reporting
- Mastery of the contractual relationship and ability to negotiate or even renegotiate a contract
- Good knowledge of process improvement
- Strong analytical, decision making and problem solving skills
- Ability to develop and coach others
- Ability to cope under pressure
- Ability to manage priorities
- Expertise in oral and written presentations
- Excellent relationship management skills
- Extensive experience in delivering collateral across an entire portfolio (requirement analysis, solution design: business and technical deliverables, status report, QA, white papers, etc.)

Desirable:
- Project Management Certification (PMP or PRINCE) is highly desirable
- Knowledge in Private Equity, Real Estate and Accounting
