Job description / Role
The person engaged in this position will project manage the construction of a sizeable private villa, the project is in the early construction phase.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor the operations of all contractors
- Review, monitor and update the weekly submittal schedule report
- Carry out technical and financial feasibility studies pre/post acquisition
- Review the accuracy of all contractors daily, weekly and monthly reporting
- Liaise with contractors/suppliers
- Approve material submissions
- Apply quality controls and make recommendations to recover from slippages
- Expedite NOC’s, permits and licenses
- Enforce environmental, health and safety standards at all times.
- Coordinate with internal teams in line with company practices and policies ensuring that all departments are informed of key deliverables and the expected completion dates
Requirements
- 10+ years’ experience gained from a variety of sectors both commercial and residential with at least 5+ years’ experience in the UAE
- Relevant construction related degree
- Fluent in FIDIC
- Be able to work as part of a small independent team
- Be able to build excellent relationships
- Proactive and an excellent communicator
