Job description / Role
We are urgently recruiting for an experienced Projects & Maintenance Manager to join our client's organization, based in Dubai, UAE.
Client blends and packs Synthetics, Semi Synthetics and Mineral lubricants of highest international standard to the specifications of major Oil Giants and it has a dedicated laboratory to test the lubricants.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assure the Safety of Department /Contracting Staff through compliance with Occupational Safety & Health regulations and maintain the attitude that all accidents are preventable & ensure full compliance towards QMS, EMS & HSSE standard requirements
- Good Knowledge of elevated safety work, Confined space entry, LOTO and other similar hot work procedures
- Responsible for the safety of Contractors and to ensure compliance to HSSE standards during the entire phases of projects
- Qualify contractors and keep a database of all type of project works
- Plan and Execute projects within given time frame and budgets utilizing project methodology
- Close the projects with proper documentation, communication with stakeholders
- Ensure a harmonious working atmosphere in the plant and among the contract workmen
- Initiate new ideas, to increase the productivity thus reducing operational cost
- Ensure Maintenance dep aligned with company objectives
- Conduct RC investigation for major breakdown and repeated cases of breakdown
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical).
- 10 years experience in Engineering / projects and maintenance of Chemical /Lubricant plants.
- Good knowledge of Project Management, plant processes & Overall Equipment Effectiveness, Plant Maintenance, TPM, Asset Utilization
Desirable:
- MBA
- PMP Certification / Six Sigma greenbelt certification
- Use of primavera or any such application for tracking projects
- Worked in chemical process plant/LOBP
- Implemented budget control initiative
- Coordinated with Free zone / Govt for approval
- Knowledge of automation in process
