Job description / Role
Charterhouse is currently working with a UK headquartered law firm who is looking to hire a Projects Partner / Partner-designate to join the firms’ full service offering in Dubai. The firm has a rounded offering in the region, having established partners and practices covering corporate, construction, finance, etc., but would be interested in speaking to a Projects Partner, who would be able to complement and tie together this existing offering.
The role will involve working closely with the Partners in Dubai, the wider region and the UK, in continuing to develop the firms’ already successful offering. The firm is interested in speaking to a technically strong Lawyer, who is established within the UAE / GCC region, with a high degree of experience and client profile. A background working on large infrastructure and energy projects, with particular exposure in the negotiation of the main project documentation. This could be an opportunity for an established partner who is looking for a new firm or a partner-designate who finds their aspirations for partnership blocked at their current firm so would be interested in exploring opportunities elsewhere.
Requirements
The successful candidate should have a good background in projects work gained at a leading law firm in the UAE or GCC region. As a development position with an expanding entrepreneurial firm, the firm would be interested in those with ideally a client following or at the more junior level a contact list and business case that they would be looking to develop. This firm is successful and expanding in the region and offers an excellent base for an ambitious individual.
