Position Title: Purchase Officer
Employment Type: Full Time
Salary: up to 6,000 AED depending on qualifications and years and experience

About the Client:
The hiring company is a Dubai based retail distributor trading all types of electronic communication devices..
Job Role:
• Conducting research on potential products, vendors, and services, and comparing price and quality to ensure the best deal
• Meeting with vendors and clients to negotiate the best contracts
• Liaising with delivery and warehouse teams to ensure goods are received on time
• Monitoring inventory and writing orders to refill stock
• Attending events, shows, and exhibitions to network with vendors and view new products
• Inspecting purchased products upon delivery and reporting any issues timely
• Updating all records of purchased products
• Writing reports on purchases made and performing cost analysis
• Attending and contributing to meetings with staff and other stakeholders
Requirements
Requirements:
• Open to ANY nationality
• Male, 38 years old and below
• BSc in Business Administration or any similar field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience, preferably from an electronics trading company / retail industry
• Experienced in local purchasing in the UAE of electronic items, specially mobile phones, iPads, Apple Watches, etc.
• Practical experience with purchasing software
• Strong analytical skills and sound research and networking skills
• Great written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
