Purchasing Specialist - Contract - 3 Months (UAE Drivers License)

Our client, an engineering company is currently recruiting for a Purchasing Specialist

This is a contract staffing role under Manpower for a period of 3 months

We are seeking for an English speaker to insure that the Non Product Related Procurement process is executed correctly during the installation phase of a maintenance site in Dubai.

The main tasks of the candidate will be:
- Management of the approved SAT requests.
- Ensure with SSO that PO is placed under an excel file.
- Ensure that delivery schedules for goods and services are communicated and aligned with the stakeholders and communicating them via a dashboard
- Purchasing items - oils / lubricants / power cable / tools/ office supplies.
- Day to day purchases / Consumable items.
- Assist the sourcing of suppliers (to be aligned with the Middle East buyer) and requests in Global Link of, supplier’s creations.
- Participation to all the stakeholders meeting to insure the quality of services.

Requirements

- Customer oriented: Always looking for pragmatic solutions to solve all issues, but in accordance with the local/regional/worldwide directives or Procurement.
- Knows excel: Compilation of tables, making some analysis etc.
- English speaker as most of the meetings are in English.
- Well communicating: Being able to communicate the status of good or services reception, the status of ordering etc.
- Should have drivers license.
