Job description / Role
• Monitor the quality and condition of all products received.
• Prepare the QA reports, highlight important observations/ deviations of specifications and standards and send them to concerned departments.
• To check the quality and condition of Products displayed in stores/retail outlets in the UAE and other Middle East countries when needed.
• Ensure that QC parameters checklist is always adhered to and being followed.
• Oversee finished product microbiological program and environmental program including issue investigation and follow-up.
• Ensure review and update of standard operating procedures or quality assurance manuals.
• Assist in improving fruit care management.
• Analyze quality control test results and communicate quality control information to all relevant organizational departments, outside vendors, or contractors.
• Direct the tracking of defects, test results, or other regularly reported quality control data.
• Any other tasks assigned by Management in order to assist in meeting company objectives.
Requirements
Required Skills/Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology/ Food sciences / Agriculture with minimum 3 years’ experience in the same field.
• Experience with Fresh Produce will be preferred.
• Practical knowledge of HACCP implementation and ability to write HACCP plans.
• Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the distribution of goods.
• Proficient in MS Office Applications (Excel and PowerPoint) for reporting and presentation purposes.
