Job description / Role
Our client is a leading construction contractor in the UAE and across the Gulf. They have established an outstanding reputation as one the leading Marine contractors.
The main responsibilities will include:
- Prepare high profile Method Statements / Risk Assessments / ITP plans.
- Prepare and review day to day Method Statements and Risk Assessments.
- Coordinate with planning, procurement, technical, operational and commercial departments.
- Conduct meetings with internal / external stakeholders.
- Major involvement with Temporary Works department.
- Coordinate temporary works with site team including site engineers and foreman.
- Prepare valuations for senior management.
- Prepare reports, charts, graphs etc.
- Work alongside HSE team.
- Manage works on site / sign off permits.
- Involved in budget and cost control to temporary works systems.
- Prepare take off and produce look a-head programmes for temporary works carried out on site.
- Coordinate work for Engineers, Supervisors and Foreman.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil/Marine Engineering or similar.
- Experience working on major civil/marine projects across the Middle East, preferably in the UAE.
- The ability to manage and work within multicultural teams
