Job description / Role
Job purpose
Responsible for ensuring that the quality control of all construction activities is adequately maintained in accordance with the established Project Quality Plan.
Duties and responsibilities
• Establish effective preventive measures and corrective action to ensure that deficiencies do not re-occur. This process will involve measurements to determine trends and suitable means of correction. Prepare and compile data from audits, identify non-quality trends and advise Project Quality Manager, Project Management or Operations for resolution.
• Supervise effective implementation of all test and inspection schedule and ensure adherence to all procedures and coordinate with various teams to perform quality audits on processes.
• Review quality of all materials at site and ensure compliance to all project specifications and quality and collaborate with department for all material procurement and maintain quality of materials.
• Assist with employees to ensure knowledge of all quality standards and ensure compliance to all quality manual and procedures and collaborate with contractors and suppliers to maintain quality of all systems.
Requirements
• Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Civil / Building Engineering
• Should have at least 5 years’ experience in GCC
• Excellent communications and inter-personal / leadership skills are essential.
• Team player, acting as a champion to break new grounds and self-motivated.
