QA QC Engineer

Job description / Role

Our company, ETST Industrial Engineering LLC is looking for a highly skilled Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) Manager, to oversee and manage the quality control process within our organization. The primary responsibility of the QA/QC Manager will be to ensure that all the fabricated items and machineries adhere to the shop drawings, technical specifications and quality standards.

Quality Assurance/Control:
- Develop and implement comprehensive QA/QC procedures to guarantee the quality of workshop activities/manufacturing process.
- Conduct regular inspections of work and products to ensure compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and industry standards.

Document Control:
- Establish and maintain a robust documentation control system for all engineering drawings, specifications, and quality control records.
- Ensure proper recording and filing of inspection reports, non-conformance reports, and other relevant documentation.

Collaboration with Engineering Teams:
- Work closely with engineering teams to understand project requirements and ensure effective communication of quality standards.
- Provide input during the design phase to enhance manufacturability and meet quality objectives.

Supplier and Vendor Management:
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to establish quality requirements for raw materials and components.
- Conduct regular audits of suppliers and vendors to ensure compliance with quality standards.

Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvement within the fabrication and quality control processes.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions to address non-conformities and improve overall quality performance.

Training and Development:
- Provide training to production and quality control teams on quality standards, inspection techniques, and relevant procedures.
- Foster a culture of quality awareness and continuous improvement within the organization.

Non-Conformance Resolution:
- Investigate and resolve non-conformance issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality-related challenges promptly.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, QA/QC or a related field.
- Proven experience in a QA/QC role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- In-depth knowledge of engineering drawings, fabrication processes, and quality control methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
