QA/QC Manager

Job description / Role

Salary: US $200,000 - 225,000

WRS are working exclusively with an Oil and Gas client based in Oman. As a Quality Manager, you will be responsible for managing and leading a team of QA/QC personnel in a long term fulfilling career. You will be managing client liaison and quality practices through allocation of all QA/QC activities, ensuring the Quality System is functioning properly.

Main responsibilities
- To manage and supervise an excellent team of QA/QC engineers
- To Develop the Project Quality Plan
- To Review and approve a Quality Audit schedule for each project
- To attend all pre-bid meetings and coordinate all project requirements

Requirements

- Bachelor`s degree in a relevant technical field and may have an advanced degree and/or 10-15 years of experience in applying the discipline skill(s) to oil gas projects.
- Familiar with most of discipline`s concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Demonstrate breadth in applying skills to different project phases and working knowledge / experience in other related disciplines.
- Knowledge of Competency Management Systems (CMS)
- Experience managing a team of QA/QC Engineers
