Job description / Role
- Implementation of the project quality plan
- Ensure company’s Quality System is applied effectively
- Develop written procedures for quality assurance / quality control
- Supervise construction work contracts including quality measurement
- Ensure compliance with all requirements of contract terms and conditions, quality and workmanship to facilitate smooth completion, handover and close-out of projects
- Monitoring / reviewing quality control over suppliers, manufacturers of products & services, site conditions and workmanship to produce work of specified quality
- Supervising material testing at site or at an independent approved lab as per the contract specifications
- Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate
Requirements
- Diploma / Degree in Engineering Disciplines, preferably in Civil Engineering
- At least holding 10 years total experience in Construction Industry as in QA/QC
- Must be based in UAE
- Proven exposure in infrastructure projects such as roads, sewerage, utilities and lighting
- Strong skills in people management, Communication skills and Team work are essential
