Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Acts and behaves in a way that is compliant with company guidelines and policies, especially those relating to Environment, Health and Safety, ethics and codes of conduct.
- Conducts routine and non-routine analyses and examination of in-process materials, raw materials and banknote samples to evaluate quality.
- Analyzes banknote quality control test results and provides feedback and interpretation to the Production Senior Manager or supervisors.
- Stops production process if serious banknote defects are present.
- Produces reports regarding nonconformance of banknote production process, banknotes quality, root cause analyses, or quality trends.
- Completes documentation needed to support testing procedures including data capture forms, equipment logbooks, or inventory forms.
- Identifies critical points in the production process and specifies sampling procedures to be used at these points.
- Calibrates, validates, or maintains laboratory equipment.
- Communicates quality control information to all relevant departments within Juno.
- Supplies quality control data necessary for regulatory submissions.
- Monitors performance of quality control systems and suggests improvement opportunities to the Quality Manager to ensure effectiveness and efficiency of Juno’s operations.
- Instructs and informs Juno’s staff on quality control and analytical procedures.
- Reviews statistical studies, technological advances and regulatory standards and trends to stay abreast of issues in the field of quality control.

Requirements

- Minimum of a high school diploma or vocational training in quality control operations
- 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly in quality control operations

Skills
- Proficient in English
- Excellent mathematical skills
- Knowledgeable of business and management principles regarding strategic planning, production methods, and coordination of people and resources
- Must have attention to detail
- Must be capable of conducting tests and inspections of products or processes to evaluate quality or performance
