Employment: Full Time

Reporting to: Managing Director

Our Client is seeking an industry professional with preferable experience in the security, maritime and oil and gas sectors, for the position of QHSSE/HSSEQ Manager. The role will be based in Dubai with a requirement for international travel from time to time. The role will provide the successful candidate with an ideal opportunity for career enhancement with a leading international maritime security company currently expanding its services portfolio.


The role of the appointed QHSSE/HSSEQ Manager is to work as an integrated team member responsible for ensuring all aspects of company Quality, Occupational Health and Safety, Security and Environmental Management Systems are reviewed, maintained and continually developed.

The role will include regular audits, both internal and external, and will incorporate the evaluation and revision of company policies and procedures in the areas of maritime security and risk management, in conjunction with achieving operational and regulatory compliance, meeting our social and corporate responsibilities and maintaining our commitment to delivering high professional standards.

In addition to the role of QHSSE management, the role will include working in a security management capacity, working closely with the Management Team to continue to develop and qualify our strategic growth portfolio in conjunction with meeting industry standards and policy amendments in the areas of safety and security training and risk management services. The successful candidate

Role & Responsibilities:
* Operational Compliance.
* Quality Assurance.
* Policy and Procedures.
* Quality Management (ISO 9001).
* OHS Management (BS OHSAS 18001) and compilation of OHS statistics.
* Security & Supply Chain Management (ISO 28000/ISO 28007).
* Client and customer pre-qualification and auditing.
* ISO inspections and compliance audits.
* Regular liaison with industry authorities [including Flag State, IMO, SCEG, BIMCO, P&I Club and Insurance underwriters].
* Preparation of training material and qualification documentation.
* Development of safety and security procedures and documentation.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Excellent time management and organisational skills.
* Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment.

Requirements

* 5-10 Years in Quality, Security, Health and Safety is a must!
* Excellent Knowledge of English
* Ex-Army individuals would be a plus.
