Job description / Role
We are currently looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Officer for a multi-national healthcare company based in Dubai.
In this role you will be responsible for implementing processes within MEA - this involves the monitoring of the performance of the quality system.
You will be required to:
- Handle local complaint activity
- Be the expert user of WISE
- Handle the release of products
- Act as documentation centre for the MEA region
- Ensure all relevant SOP's are in place and meet requirements
- Handle product surveillance activity for drugs and medical devices
- Ensure quality responsibility for Dubai warehouse
- Implement field corrective actions
- Manage external quality audits ISO9000 accreditation
Requirements
- Have a degree in Pharmacy, Natural Science or equivalent degree within scientific field
- Have 2-3 years professional experience in quality assurance within a multi-national environment
- Have the ability to liaise with the different functions involved
- Have a good knowledge of ISO9001 and ISO 13485
- Be able to work effectively with people in different functions
- Have a good understanding of applicable country regulations
- Be fluent in English and Arabic (reading, writing and speaking)
- Have great communication skills
- Be a real people person and work well within a team
