Quality Engineer

Job description / Role

Our Client is a global water technology provider; transports, treats, tests and efficiently uses water in municipal utility, commercial and residential building services, industrial and agricultural settings. They operate out five continents through a number of market leading brands, headquarters in the USA, with revenues of $4 billion and 12,500 employees worldwide.

They are currently recruiting for a Quality Engineer for their pump manufacturing operations in Dubai.

As the Quality Engineer you will be the deputy management representative for ensuring of quality and product development projects. You will be involved with controlling, investigating, resolving and reporting quality issues. A high level of examination of the conformance of components and finished goods will be required. Corrective actions of the manufacturing process will be initiated by the Quality Control should parts and components not comply with company standards. You will be coordinating with various teams on trans-functional projects for design or re-design of manufactured goods. Throughout your role you will inspire and promote a high degree of quality and EHS standards on the jobsite.

Requirements

- Mechanical or Electrical Engineer
- Minimum 7 years experience working in a Quality Management role handling QC activities
- Manufacturing industry background required
- Must have experience with mechanical and electrical measurements as well as reading technical drawings
- Must be a problem solver and willing to work within a team
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to handle multiple assignments with shifting priorities
- Knowledge of electric motors and controls would be a strong advantage
