Job description / Role
Menasa and Partners is currently conducting a search for a QHSE Senior Manager who has vast experience working on QHSE management. The position is based in Dubai working for public sector.
This position will provide full time quality, environmental health and safety support to the operations and will ensure that all practices are in compliance with company regulatory requirements. The position will be responsible for coordinating regulatory programs and its permitting applications. Support the development and coordination of training programs.
Prime roles:
- Quality Environmental health and safety managers inspect and evaluate the quality, health and safety, environment in working areas to ensure compliance with government safety regulations and industry standards.
- To develop and implement QSHE best practices to minimize the quality, health, safety and environmental risks by ensuring adherence to all government laws, regulations and company or industry environment and occupational health and safety guidelines and contractual requirements throughout Agencys Lifecycle, from Concept Phase to Decommissioning and Disposal Phase.
- Goal is to protect the employees, customers and the environment.
- Recommend changes to protect workers, and educate employees on how to prevent health problems through the use of safety training programs.
- Investigate accidents to identify their causes and find ways to prevent them in the future.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering; Environmental, Civil, Chemistry or Chemical Engineering and related certifications i.e HSE, NEBOSH, OSHA etc
- Minimum 15 years experience in QHSE role, 7 years in managerial role
- Ability to perform difficult and complex QHSE activities
- Demonstrate track record in the development and implementation of construction QHSE policies and procedures
- Supervisory and managerial experience
- Excellent English written and oral communication skills
Desirable:
- Professionally accredited by NEBOSH/OSHA/LEAD Auditor
