Job description / Role
- Recording and monitoring of all site activities and costs being expended on the project.
- Preparation and summaries of all measured works.
- Maintain a schedule of submissions and responses, for approvals, inspections, variations, etc…
- Prepare take offs from drawings and compare with site measurements.
- Preparation of Interim Valuations and Final Account, of MEP (ELV, Plumbing& Special Systems)Tender documents including pricing, as well as tabulation of Price Comparison and Cost Summary.
- Reconciliation of materials and works executed during the month.
- Preparation of Sub Contractors payments and recording / monitoring of all site works.
- Preparation of Monthly Commercial reports in conjunction with PM and site team.
- Maintain all MEP(ELV, Plumbing & Special Systems)) QS documents and logs / registers applicable.
- Attention of technical meetings with consultants, contractors and subcontractors and weekly progress meeting if required by MEP construction manager.
- Coordinate with all company departments as required for the execution of the Project.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in M.E.P. Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
- 2-3 years GCC or Middle East experience in ELV, Plumbing or Special Systems QS, in Health Care Centers, Hospital o similar projects.
- Able to recognize contractual obligations of both company and its subcontractors.
- Proven track record with international standard contracting companies.
- Capability to accept responsibilities and accomplish project objectives in a timely manner.
- Able to act on own initiative and proactive way.
- Good communication skills and strong English capability.
