Job description / Role
Objectives:
• This position is responsible to ensure that the Raw material of the company has the appropriate inventory levels while maintaining the highest level of quality and cost effectiveness.
Main responsibilities:
• Coordinate all planning activities to ensure timely and cost effective planning & purchasing of RM
• Obtain SAP data, analyse the same & bring out the areas of improvement.
• Conducts research & look for cross regional opportunities to improve cost structure.
• Obtain competitive prices quotes from Raw material vendors on regular basis
• Review daily inventory levels to ensure optimum inventory levels.
• Prepare costing reports and react proactively to solve potential cost overrun issues.
• Coordinate between supplier and internal customers to resolve issues related to quality, process performance, supply, and project management through the QBR process.
• Handling of import logistics and clearance
• Understanding of demographics to visualise most cost effective logistics.
• Should be able to understand & negotiate logistics costs.
• Reporting to: Procurement Director
• Number required: 1
• Desired start date: ASAP
• Duration: Permanent
• Probation: 6 MONTHS
• Working Hours: Monday - Friday
• Travel requirements: Depend on the business requirements
• Commission / Bonus: N/A

Requirements
Specialist knowledge:
• Negotiation & Analytical Skills .
• Good computer literacy with Excellent excel skills for better analyzing of large amount data.
• Knowledge of SAP is a must.
• Maintain high level of integrity and confidentiality.
• Able to work independently, prioritize assignments, and achieve desired results.
Nature and length of previous experience:
• Minimum 5 Years of Experience in Supply chain, planning, procurement.
University Qualifications:
• Bachelor in Mechanical/ Industrial Engineering.
Soft Skills and Personality traits:
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently, prioritize assignments, and achieve desired results.
Gender Preference:
• Male
Language Fluency:
• Fluent oral and written skills in English, and any other European language like French, Italian or Dutch.
