Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

An exciting opportunity to work with an international oil and gas company that have been in the market for over 70 years. They have carried out many activities to grow the human capital and also have helped to protect and conserve the environment.

RECRUITMENT
- Assist in the short listing of CVs based on qualifications
- Work in partnership with internal clients through the recruitment cycle; ensuring an efficient and effective hiring process is being followed
- Manage the induction programs of new recruits.
- Prepare all documents (e.g. employment contracts, transfer letters, probation documents, etc…)
- Prepare all announcements and ensure that it is signed by managers and send out to all involved
- Prepare all documents for the termination of employment

TRAINING
- Assist the VP HR & Communication in extracting the Career Development and training needs from the Appraisal forms.
- Ensure the maintenance of up to date Job descriptions for all job positions.
- Liaise with the VP HR & Communication and contribute to the design and implementation of cost effective training to deliver business objectives.
- Maintain education and professional expertise through attendance at job related seminars, conferences, workshops and training.
- Schedule & identify training needs
- Monitor, evaluate and record training activities and program effectiveness of all training events.
- Cooperate in the production of the annual portfolio of local courses and administer nomination procedure for attendance.
- Prepare P.O.’s in Optima and ensure Invoice receipt and forwarding to finance for payment.
- Coordinate the consolidation of the data from the implementation of the Companies’ Annual Performance Appraisal

Requirements

- The ideal candidate must have at least 2 years work experience in recruitment and a year within HR.
- Should also have an HR qualification.
- Must also have good computer skills and ability to learn HR system.
- Should have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good analytical skills and initiative and confidence to interact with superiors.

Preference will be given to Asian candidates - as per the clients requirements.
