Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

• Strives to achieve assigned regional / global account sales goals through effective management of sales activities and coordination with the teams of national / global key account sales staff.
• Create an environment where the Sales team can operate with the highest standards of integrity.
• Champions safety culture and actively contributes to the development of key policies or guidelines where appropriate.
• Develop business strategies and sales plans for the company and oversee their implementation through appropriate delegation of responsibility and authority.
• Provides day-to-day supervision of sales activities, supporting training, and manpower planning, motivation, and performance evaluation of national sales staff.
• Directs the flow of information for sales activities and transactions, including leads, billings, orders, contracts, global agreements, etc., and evaluates data to ensure sales goals are met.
• Ensures sales goals are met within organization strategies and maintains coordination with integral organization functions.
• Develop business strategies and identify new customers, markets and services.
• Monitor the performance of sales team through indirect reports.
• Provide strategic advice and guidance to the business managers on international and regional accounts, to keep them aware of developments within the company and to ensure that the appropriate policies are developed to meet the client and organization’s mission and objectives and to comply with all relevant statutory and other regulations.
• Establish and maintain formal and informal links with major customers, relevant government departments and agencies, key decision makers to exchange information and views and to ensure that the company is providing the appropriate range and quality of services.
• Prepare, gain acceptance and monitor the implementation of the annual sales targets to ensure that these are met, that revenue flows are maximized and that fixed costs are minimized.
• Represent the organization in negotiations with international and regional customers to secure the most effective contract terms for the organization.
• Develop and maintain total quality management system to ensure that the best services are provided to the clients.
• Maintain appropriate level of employee performance through business managers. Ensure high level of employee satisfaction.

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in any discipline from a reputable university.
• Minimum of 10 years sales experience, UAE or Regional Gulf experience is essential
• Proven track record in business development, sales and marketing
• High degree of commercial awareness
• Proven experience in executing account strategy and implementing account management processes
• Excellent influencing and powerful communications skills
• Creative and innovative approach to problem solving
• Possess the energy and enthusiasm to drive new business initiatives, influence partners and analyze and deliver results whilst paying attention to detail
• Operate at high personal and professional standards
• Be an effective team-player and also be able to work autonomously
