Regional B2B Manager Asia Pacific and Middle East

VisitBritain is looking for a Regional B2B Manager for a fixed-term contract for 12 months, to be based in Dubai. The candidate must have solid understanding of the offline and online travel intermediaries landscape in the UK and Asia Pacific & Middle East. Experience in a commercial digital B2B environment would be key for this role. You also should have excellent strategic, analytical and planning skills. A proven track record in managing commercial B2B partnerships is an advantage.

You will use a data driven approach to devise a 3 year strategy for B2B for the key markets in Asia Pacific & Middle East, produce a yearly plan and ensure that B2B targets for the region is met.

Key deliverables for the role are:
- Produce a B2B strategy for the region
- Work with in-market leads to produce B2B marketing plans that provide a conversion element to the brand and promotions work done in other functional areas
- Streamline the existing partnership model for B2B into a wider integrated partnership model
- Produce quarterly business reports on performance against targets and implement strategies to improve performance
- Develop high quality data based insights to inform management of the business
- Provide operational support for the Regional Manager

Requirements

- Strategic and analytical thinker with ability to inform, influence and drive the strategic tourism B2B plan for Britain in APME region
- Solid understanding of both the online and offline B2B (2C) landscape in APME and also the UK
- Expertise in analysis the supply value chain, customer journey and intermediaries landscape
- Proven ability in strategic and tactical planning and delivery of action plans including demand creation and supply fulfilment
- Commercially astute and able to spot opportunities, develop relevant business and contribute to growing market for Britain
- Regional management and global team-working experience, preferably in digital travel environment, with a proven track record of successfully leading teams to achieve targets and objectives
- Excellent Key Account Management skills with the ability to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders including at senior representation level
- Good project management skills with the ability to manage a number of projects simultaneously and remain organized under tight deadlines
- Strong report writing skills and able to generate market intelligence and competitive environment reports, insights and presentations
- Strong financial management and experience of making limited budgets go a long way, and good awareness of corporate governance requirementsAble to travel internationally, when necessary
- Good computer literacy – MS Office or similar
