Regional Credit Controller - Dubai
Aquila Consulting are working in partnership with an international IP Networking and Security Solutions organisation based in Dubai. Due to growth throughout the MENA region they require a Regional Credit Controller to join their expanding team in Dubai.
The ideal candidate will have UAE based experience and be able to collect outstanding debt by visiting suppliers across the Middle East and building relationships to improve cash flow in their business.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain regular contact with customers in accordance with the clients credit policies
- Continually monitor and manage customer credit limits
- Monitor ledgers and debt owed
- Monitor and manage payment plans to enable debts to be cleared as quickly as possible
- Monitor and control late payments and take the appropriate action to address the situation e.g. automated letters, Credit Collection agency, Solicitor involvement etc.
- Acton and resolve incidents and queries to expedite payments
- Regularly review orders to be released/held in line with credit control policy
- Post cash received into the bank onto the system and allocate against relevant invoices
Requirements
- Must have at least 4 years of experience in a credit control position based in the UAE
- Results-driven and tenacious
- Assertive communicator with the ability to build relationships with decision makers
- Calm under pressure with a persuasive personality
- Career driven
